BellaVista is a typical Italian townhouse built around the end of the 16th Century. It is completely self-contained and retains many of its original features such as exposed chestnut beams and terracotta flooring. Its three bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen and living/dining room, TV and study give ample space for a relaxed stay.
The pièce de resistance is the balcony off the living area with the most splendid view over the Upper Tiber Valley. Imagine yourself relaxing over breakfast or enjoying a quiet evening drink after a day's touring.
Below the house is a large cantina, or wine and food cellar where we now store the firewood, as well as laundry facilities. There is also an ancient grotto, possibly dating from Etruscan times, carved out of the hillside and part of the medieval fortifications of the town.
